Numerous people worldwide believe they have reincarnated but are confused by the ignorance and lack of speech on this subject. Whilst we have a subconscious mind and ample testimonies of so-called 'gifted' children who from extremely young ages can already master difficult tasks it surely has to be considered.
In recent years we are increasingly aware of other phenomena that adds to the debate. Under hypnosis, for example, people regressed recall past lives along with place names, dates and times of events they could not know about otherwise. Recently a gentleman wrote to me about his three year old daughter related her stabbing murder at 17 in a State of the USA that she had never heard mentioned, let alone the town she named.

Then there are the weird little snippets of conversation from the mouths of toddlers that could only come from another world. A mother recently told me of her three year old son's outburst. One day as she brushed his hair he suddenly said “mum, when I was a girl.”

Little ones often have 'companions' with whom many of them converse. Far from weird these are all indications of psychic contacts and memory of reincarnation. So too are the goose bumps and spine chills we feel at times.

- I have had my palm read. Very interesting. The reader was able to tell many things about me from careful observation, and his predictions were based upon that quick assessment that he made of me. This means that the future is ever-changing and almost impossible to tell, but it is still fun to experience a fortune teller.

They are there to bring them comfort and give them proof that their lives will continue albeit in a different form. They will help them to leave the physical body and make the transition into spirit, welcoming them and surrounding them with loving energy.

Bible Scripture states that the *soul* is a person. The *soul* that sins, it shall die.

Scripture teaches that the soul is mortal. It will die without the breath of life. The breath of life is the air that flows in and out of our lungs. Without air, we will die, regardless of our state of health.

Ghost, Past Lives, Reincarnation, and a host of other beliefs and teachings all share one common element. Each one is built upon the presumption that the soul is inherently immortal and lives on after death. Scripture does not teach that the soul is immortal. In fact, it teaches just the opposite. Scripture teaches that the soul is mortal and is subject to death. The dead know nothing at all. That is what Scripture teaches.

In western history, black cats have often been looked upon as a symbol of bad omens. One of the prevalent black cat superstition alive in our the western culture today is if a black cat crosses your path, it is considered bad luck. Interestingly, in most other cultures, the black cat is a prized possession & owning one is said to bring the owner good luck. 

The origin of the black cat & good luck is said to have begun in Ancient Egypt with the sacred black cat of BAST. BAST is an official deity of Egypt in the 22nd dynasty. During her reign, Egyptians courted her favors, by keeping black cats in their houses, believing that she would become part of the cat in spirit & grace their home with riches & prosperity.

Charles I of England (1600-1649) owned a black cat. He loved the cat so much so that he had guards protecting the cat 24 hours a day, until one day the cat fell in & died. Charles I was heard to proclaim, "Alas my luck is gone." True enough, he was arrested the next day & charged with high treason. He was later put to his death.

In Sumatra, during a long drought, a black cat is found and thrown into the river. The village folk would line the bank, forcing the cat to swim until almost exhausted. Once the cat is exhausted they allow the cat to get out of the water. The women of the village then chase the black cat while throwing water on the cat and themselves. This is supposed to bring rain. Although this tradition might bring good luck to the village, pity the poor cat that has the bad luck of being chosen for this!
